About Me!

I started playing guitar in 1980 and have been hooked ever since. I have over 25 years of live performace experience and have played over 2,500 gigs across the USA.

I have a degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood CA.

I have competed in Guitar Center's King Of The Blues Contest, Guitar World Magazine Shred The Web Contest, and Guitar Player Magazine's Best Unkown Guitarist Contest.

I have appeared and performed on television on WGN's Channel 9 news program "Around Town", the WGN Channel 9 Mid-day news with Steve Sanders, CBS Channel 2 program "Technogadgets" and ABC 7's news program "The Best of Chicago Shopping".

I have opened or performed with Michael Schenker, Billy Sheehan, Jeff Berlin, Michael Angelo Batio, Filter, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Big Wreck, Dishwalla, Dig, Spacehog and Jackyl.

Former guitarist for the rock band Inner Sanctum that was voted one of 1996 best unsigned bands by Musician's Magazine. We released two CD's , "The Changeling" and "Geisha Made".

I have taught actor and writer Harold Ramis, former Chicago Bulls player Bill Cartwright, and former Chicago Bears players Kyle Orton and the late Dave Duerson.

Lessons are $25 per half hour billed in blocks of 4 lessons.
